About Dylan

I am based in Del Mar and study molecular and medical microbiology at UC Davis, with a minor in quantitative biology and bioinformatics. Most of my time splits between two places that usually don't overlap: a clinical lab and a sales channel.

On the science side, I run assays, isolate plasma, and manage a cancer-biology lab where I decide who we hire, build the schedule, and help with grants and publications. On the business side, I've priced hundreds of SKUs, built AI workflows, and started a small product company in high school.

My public-health work adds a third piece: listening to people whose needs cannot be reduced to a spreadsheet. Organizing global-health advocacy, supporting care at the US–Mexico border, and volunteering in Kenya have made access and implementation feel as important to me as the underlying science.

Biotech sales is the role where those experiences can do the same work. The job is to understand the evidence, explain it honestly, recognize what a customer actually needs, and carry the relationship through to a measurable result.

Leadership in health access

Long-running commitments that show how I work with teams, communities, and healthcare missions outside a formal lab role.

Team Coordinator · Partners In Health Engage

I lead a large student team through community building, fundraising, and education around global healthcare access. During two trips to Washington, D.C., I organized meetings with congressional offices as part of PIH Engage's federal advocacy work, including organizing around the End Tuberculosis Now Act.

PIH Engage trains volunteer organizers to build local teams, educate communities, raise resources, and advocate for healthcare as a human right.

Volunteer · Refugee Health Alliance

I have traveled to Tijuana to package and distribute medicine for refugees and work alongside volunteers providing medical and emotional support. The experience made healthcare access tangible at the point where logistics, trust, and human vulnerability meet.

Refugee Health Alliance provides free, trauma-informed medical services through clinics and shelter partnerships near the US–Mexico border.

Student Volunteer · My Chosen Vessels

In the Amboseli region of Kenya, I helped construct traditional Maasai manyattas, collected and distributed medical supplies, and spoke with community members about local healthcare needs. I later received the Presidential Gold Volunteer Service Award for this community service.

My Chosen Vessels is a US nonprofit and Kenyan NGO whose Maasai-led programs focus on clean water, education, cultural conservation, and sustainable community infrastructure.

Guardians Circle · San Diego Blood Bank

I donate blood on a recurring schedule as a Guardians Circle member. It is a quiet commitment, but a useful reminder that dependable healthcare systems are built from repeated participation, not one-time gestures.
